John Nitschke Drilling operates the most modern and technically advanced fleet of multi-purpose drilling rigs in South Australia. The company prides itself on its ability and willingness to undertake difficult and challenging drilling projects with an innovative hands on approach. From its base at Hahndorf the company can mobilise specialised drilling equipment anywhere in Australia.

The modern rig fleet has the capacity to drill 6 to 24 inch diameter rotary to depths of 1500 metres, 5.5 inch RC to depths of 1000 metres and NQ core to 2000 metres plus. All terrain all wheel drive vehicles can get our equipment to the most difficult and remote sites to carry out drilling projects.

A wide range of auxiliary equipment, which can be mixed and matched to meet specific client demands, supports all rigs. Fully self-contained camp facilities are available for remote operations and an extensive range of spare parts is carried on site.

John Nitschke Drilling has written work procedures and undertakes Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for every drilling project to identify hazards and prevent injury. Internal safety, equipment and maintenance audits are also conducted to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the drilling program.
